Automate Your Affiliate Program

As a team whose been online full-time for the past 5 years — selling our own products and services as well as consulting with others who are doing the same thing — it can be amazing (and, yes, even amusing) to SEE the “A-ha” moments in action.

“Ah, ClickBank — they’re the ticket… my affiliate management needs solved.”

The publisher, the content producer, the marketer, AFTER a few months of experiential clarity, then proclaims:

“Now, what about giving my affiliates the ability to sell multiple products, from multiple websites, using one affiliate account… one control panel?”

Then, the mind revs up even more:

“Hey now, who the hell are my affiliates in the first place? The marketplace is bringing ‘em in… but, man, I sure want to communicate with them.”

Then, the moment where the rubber meets the road:

“Ya know, I’ve got multiple quality, value-based products. I want some of them inside a membership site. I actually want to give some key publishers / affiliates I know a higher affiliate percentage… and, holy @#$%, come to think of it, I’d rather NOT pay ClickBank 7.5% for every transaction, either.”

Yup, what I just described is the ever-faithful evolved cycle of thinking when it comes to running an affiliate program, especially when the publisher ONLY knows ClickBank FIRST.

Then again, some folks go straight to the SCRIPTS — they know ahead of time that ClickBank isn’t for them, yet they think:

“Well, I’ll go and install an affiliate program software, like iDevAffiliate or PostAffiliatePro, and have a hassle-free script I can customize to my liking.”

That sounds (and looks) good on the surface, but then what about:

>> constant script updates, customizations, and enhancements?

>> integration hurdles? i.e., “I need my affiliate software to work with ______” (fill in blank)

>> advanced layers of tracking ensuring your affiliates are always awarded for their hard work?

Really, what it comes down to is: FULL INTEGRATION with the front-end.

As in, if you, as the publisher, want to take payment via PayPal, via Credit Card or both, will your affiliate system track the commission for the sales, regardless of how the customer pays?

And, if your front-end is site X on domainX.com and site Y on domainY.com, and even a third called site Z on domainZ.com, will your software or script allow you to give a tracking link DIRECTED to each site from ONE
control panel?

Some of the features of the GGPC’s recommended e-commerce provider are that it provides FULL integration with your front-end marketing processes — no matter WHAT or WHERE those are.

Want to deliver your stuff via iTunes? Okay, no problem. Affiliate referral gets tracked.

Want to deliver your stuff via a secure product download page? Okay, no problem. Affiliate referral gets tracked.

Want to deliver your stuff via a secure membership site? Okay, no problem. Affiliate referral gets tracked.

Regardless of what domain each of the delivery vehicles are hosted on!

But wait… there’s more! It gets better! ;)

Some of the UNIQUE features of the affiliate side of the platform are:

>> Built-in Affiliate Tool creator for HTML, email, and banner marketing elements.

>> Affiliate reports, CSV export, and PayPal mass pay exporting.

>> Cookie and IP tracking across multiple domains.

>> Forced coupon codes that allow you to alter the commissions, give bonuses or offer discounts for a particular affiliate without the affiliate’s visitors having to enter the coupon code.

>> Ability to “set” commissions, per product, membership, or Podcast.

>> JV Broker performance tracking.

>> Automatic bonus delivery features.

>> Viral features.

Viral Feature #1: You can list your products in their affiliate network for more exposure to potential affiliates.

Viral Feature #2: You have the option of creating “directory listings” that are sales or lead capture pages propagated to the directories on all partner networks where you can get additional free traffic exposure for your offers and publications.

Viral Feature #3: You can use the membership strategy where you use Nanacast’s membership site creation system to turn any site or offer into a membership and can set it to automatically join every member to your affiliate program. From there, you can do things like:  use the affiliate link tag to put content in their a) membership pages and/or b) on  each customer’s thank you pages encouraging them to share their link if they like your membership and get paid commissions. This is also known as “integration marketing.”

If you’re looking for a 100% unbreakable, feature-rich affiliate tracking and management system — one that’s INTEGRATED into an even more comphrehensive product management and delivery platform — look no further than Nanacast.
